This is a bad character trait, that a man should want to have more than his friend. It is obvious that when regarding the affairs of this world, that this is a bad character trait, which will consume soul and flesh, for he will never be content with his lot, and will fall into the traits of jealousy, desire and honor, which take a man out of this world. All his days will be full of pain, while he eats himself up because of the good things and honor that others have which he is unable to reach. He will exhaust himself in trying to become rich and to reach that which he is unable to reach. Because of this, his days on this earth will be painful and his end will be ghastly.
