41 – The Mitzvah of Lending / Chapter six

  1. If two people come seeking a loan, one has wealthy relatives who can assist him while the second has no such relatives, then it is better to lend to the one who does not have wealthy relatives. However, if the one who has relatives says that they do not want to help him, then both loan seekers are equal.
He has told you, O Man, what is good, and what Hashem asks of you; but to do justice, to love loving-kindness, and to walk discreetly with your G-d” (Micha 6:8)
