Hilchos Tevilas Keilim – 13

  1. Although it is forbidden to use a utensil that was not immersed, nevertheless, if it was incorrectly used for cooking or serving food without it being immersed first, the food does not become forbidden. This is true whether this was done intentionally or accidentally (Shulchan Aruch120:16).

2.     Even if a very long time has gone by from when the utensil was purchased, and even if the person used it a hundred times without immersing it, one does not become exempt from this mitzvah and he must immerse it now (ibid.).

The wise man says: I shall learn two halachot today, and two tomorrow, until I learn the entire Torah entirely… (Vayikra Rabba)
