Hilchos Tevilas Keilim – 15

  1. If a utensil that was not immersed became mixed among utensils that had been immersed, all of the utensils must be immersed. And even though only one of them had not been immersed, one should recite the blessing in the plural: al tevilas keilim,“on the immersion of utensils” (רו”ח קכב,א; תשורת ש”י ב,קד; דרכ”ת סקל”ו).

2.     In case of great need, it is permissible to “immerse” glassware (whose immersion is rabbinically ordained) in snow that is gathered in one place and fills the volume of forty se’ah. But utensils made of metal, which must be immersed by Torah law, may not be immersed in snow (Chochmas Adam 73:19).

The wise man says: I shall learn two halachot today, and two tomorrow, until I learn the entire Torah entirely… (Vayikra Rabba)
