Hilchos Tevilas Keilim – 24

  1. One who purchased a bottle or tin-can filled with food or beverage, may use them as is and is not required to empty them upon purchase, even if the bottle or can were purchased from a non-Jew and were not immersed in a mikvah.(Tzitz Eliezer, VIII:26 and other poskim)

2.    Some say that one may even re-use such utensils without immersion after they were emptied of their original food content. (ibid.)

The wise man says: I shall learn two halachot today, and two tomorrow, until I learn the entire Torah entirely… (Vayikra Rabba)
