- If one sees someone committing an injustice to another, and he knows for certain that he has not mended his ways by either returning the monetary loss or by appeasing his friend, then it is permitted to pass it on in order to protect his friend from the injustice caused to him. This is so only under the following conditions:
2. These are the conditions: A. He saw it firsthand or he has investigated it thoroughly and found it to be accurate. B. One must be certain that a wrong has actually been committed. C. He must first rebuke the sinner. D. He must not exaggerate the injustice in any way. E. His intention must be solely for a constructive purpose. F. There is no other way to rectify the injustice. G. It will not cause the sinner to suffer a greater loss than the law allows.
