14. If someone did something improper to Reuven, and he suspects that Shimon is the culprit, Shimon is forbidden to tell him who the real culprit it, even if he saw it with his own eyes, he may only claim his innocence. [If indeed no wrong was committed, but Reuven thinks of it as a wrongdoing, and he is convinced that Shimon is the one responsible for the act, it is possible that according to the law, Shimon is forbidden to claim his innocence, if by doing so, Reuven will understand who it is].
15. One who asks a seller to put aside certain merchandise for him until he comes to pay, and in the meantime someone else came and bought it, the seller is forbidden to tell him who bought it. Even if the seller tells him, that the buyer had no idea that the merchandise was set aside, it is forbidden, as generally it will still cause him to be upset at the buyer.
