After a person internalizes the fact his eternal existence depends entirely on learning Torah, he should be very careful not to waste time on other things. He should not think he can collect a fortune to distribute to Torah learners to buy their Torah, for besides the fact that no one will sell their Torah to him, one can not buy Torah learnt already, only to support learners to help them continue learning without distractions and thereby participate in their learning. Even hundreds of years after a person passes away, he will agonize over the Torah he could have learned and didn’t, and will have no way of retrieving it in the world he is in. As long as a person is alive he should be vigilant to utilize his time to learn as much Torah as he can.
