The Laws of Prayer (81)
1) The verse “Yiheyu Leratzon” which is said at the end of the Amidah is potent for many things. It begins with the letter “Yud” and ends with the letter “Yud”, it has “Yud” (ten) words, it contains the letter “yud” ten (yud) times, and contains forty-two letters. All of the above are very potent secrets of the Torah. It follows that one must say it slowly, and concentrate while saying it, and by doing this there will be great achievement so that his prayer will be accepted and not be returned empty. (Mishne Berurah 122)
2) One who is accustomed to saying the following four things will merit to receive the visage of the Divine Presence. The four things are: “Aseih lema’an shemecha, aseih lema’an yeminecha, aseih lma’an torasecha, aseih lema’an kedushasecha” (Act for Your Name, act for Your right hand, act for Your Torah, Act for Your Holiness). (ibid)
