The Laws of Prayer/Blessings (1)

1) One who utters a blessing, should not “throw” the blessing from his mouth. Instead, he should concentrate on the meaning of the words. (Shulchan Aruch and Mishne Berurah 5)

2)    2) When uttering a blessing on enjoyment or for fulfilling a commandment, he should concentrate on the fact that the Creator has been wondrous in His kindness to the person, and given him the food to benefit from, and the commandments to perform. He should not bless like a person who is doing something which is customary and uttering things without thought. (Mishne Berurah ibid)

The wise man says: I shall learn two halachot today, and two tomorrow, until I learn the entire Torah entirely… (Vayikra Rabba)
