The Laws of the Three Weeks (5)

1)    The Ashkenazi custom is that one does not cut one’s hair or beard during the three weeks, and an adult may not even cut the hair of a small child. (Kitzur 122)

2)    Even according to the Sephardic custom, (that the prohibition is only the week of the ninth of Av), many keep the custom of the Ar”i  Zal who did not cut his hair for the entire three weeks. (Ben Ish Chai Devarim 12)
