Laws Relating to Squeezing Fruit on Shabbath and Yom Tov

12. There is nothing wrong with cutting a grapefruit into halves and eating it with a spoon, provided that

a. one is careful not to squeeze the grapefruit intentionally and

b. one does not intend specifically to drink the juice which inevitably runs out, rather than to eat the flesh. (See also paragraph 11 above.)
