The Laws of Washing Hands – 5

1) The obligation to wash one’s hands for food which has been dipped in liquid applies to food which one normally eats with one’s hands. This obligation stands even if, for some reason, one eats this food with cutlery. However, with cooked food and other things which are generally eaten with cutlery, there is no obligation to wash one’s hands, even if for some reason one ate it with one’s hands. (Mishne Berura 158)

2) If one touched something dirty while eating, one must wash one’s hands again. (ibid)

The wise man says: I shall learn two halachot today, and two tomorrow, until I learn the entire Torah entirely… (Vayikra Rabba)
