1) If one did not make the morning blessings before the prayers, one should make them afterwards. As regards the blessing “Elokai neshamah”, some say that one does not say it after prayers as the blessing “Mechayeh hameisim” has included it, whereas others say that one must still say it. In this case it is therefore correct to have deliberate intention when saying “Mechayeh hameisim” not to include “Elokai neshamah”, so that he can say it after the prayers. (Shulchan Aruch 52)
2) Similarly, it is unclear whether when saying “Ahavah rabbah” or “Ahavas olam” one has included the blessing on the Torah. If he learns immediately after praying, or he read the Shema after the final time for reading it, it is definitely included. He should ideally intend to include it and learn immediately after praying. (ibid)
