Every person should have a daily learning schedule, and if he can do so in a learning group, that is best, for this raises Hashem’s honor immensely. People should try to learn in groups, one group for Mishna, one for Talmud, and one for halacha. They should do so publicly in the beis medrash, and by doing so they will be spared from wars and pillaging, as our Sages taught, ‘Wars and pillaging come to the world because of Torah not learned’. On Shabbos especially one should set up learning groups, for Shabbos is a holy day that should be dedicated to learning.
