1. It is correct to learn on the night of Shavuos with ten adult Jews, as wherever there is a quorum the Divine Presence appears. (Shelah)

One should spend the night of Shavuos learning with tremendous motivation, with much happiness and excitement, for the correct type of learning on this night has great consequences on high, and draws holiness and purity to the soul of the person. One should strengthen oneself like a lion to stay wide awake, to push sleep aside and not to doze at all. (Ben Ish Chai Bamidbar)
