The Laws of the prayer of the Study Hall (94)

1. One who enters a study hall prays the following “May it be Your will Hashem our G-d and the G-d of our fathers that I shall not stumble in a matter of Jewish Law etc.”, and when he exits the study-hall he says “I give thanks before You Hashem my G-d that you made me one of those who sit in the study hall etc. (Shulchan Aruch and Mishne Berurah 110)

2. Even one who learns by himself must pray these prayers, and especially if he is ruling on Halachic questions. These two prayers are obligatory and may be said either while sitting or standing, in whichever position he finds himself. (ibid)

The wise man says: I shall learn two halachot today, and two tomorrow, until I learn the entire Torah entirely… (Vayikra Rabba)
