It is a great important obligation to conduct oneself with respect for the congregation (when there is a quorum) and the sin of bothering the congregation is very grave, and in direct proportion to the stringency of the prohibition is the level of care necessary.

Chazal say “Who is one who is honored? One who honors the creations.”. It follows that one who honors a congregation that Hashem cherishes their honor. One who makes an effort and worries about the honor of the congregation and bothering the congregation will find favor and be considered to have good sense in the eyes of Hashem and people.
