A Miscellany Including Stationery, Clocks, Noises, Baby Carriages, Remuneration and Advance Preparations

THE USE OF BABY CARRIAGES ON SHABBATH AND YOM TOV

46.a. A combined high chair and baby walker, composed of a detachable upper part designed for sitting on and a lower part designed for helping a baby learn to walk. may be put together or taken apart on Shabbath or Yom Tov.

46.b. This is permitted, even if the two sections are joined by screws, since they are made to be frequently screwed together and unscrewed, in accordance with the needs of the child.

47. Squeaky wheels may not be oiled.
