BOOKS AND STATIONERY
16.a. Letters and other documents may be folded, either into their original folds or into new folds, but
16.b. one should not fold paper to make toys or other objects. (See Chapter 16, paragraph 19.)
16.c. Similarly, paper table napkins must not be folded into special shapes, as is often done when setting a table for guests, but they may be folded in half, or into quarters, for the sake of neatness.
17.a. One is not allowed to wrap the binding of a book in paper, folding the paper around each cover to make it fit.
17.b. One is allowed to wrap a book in paper in the way one is accustomed to do when wrapping a gift or when packing for dispatch (but one must, of course, not stick it down).
