CLOCKS AND WATCHES

25. If a wristwatch stops on Shabbath while one is wearing it, and one is in a place where it is liable to be stolen if left, one may take it to a safe place and put it down there (provided, of course, that the rules concerning carrying. set out in Chapters 17 and 18, permit one to do this).

26. With regard to wearing a wristwatch where there is no eiruv and where carrying items from one place to another is forbidden, see Chapter 18, paragraph 27.

27. Wall clocks are muktzeh and may not be moved even wall clocks when they are going.
