1. If, for whatever reason, the majority of the Jewish People did not bring the first Pesach, then impure individuals do not offer PesachSheini at all.
2. But if the Holy Temple will be rebuilt in the interim between the first Pesach and the second one—even if no one offered the Pesach offering in Nissan—in this case there is a disagreement between the Tana’imwhether Pesach Sheini will be brought by all of Israel (Yerushalmi; Minchas Chinuch 380).
Halachos of Pesach Sheini 2
1. Pesach Sheini, “the Second Pesach,” falls on the fourteenth of Iyar. In the Temple times, those individuals who had been unable to bring their Pesach offering in Nissan such as those who had been impure or on a distant journey] would bring their Pesach offering on this day and they would eat it at night, which is the night of the fifteenth of Iyar, along with matzah andmaror.
2. Like the standard Pesach offering, this one similarly overrides Shabbos, is eaten roasted, may not be left over, and one may not break any of its bones. However, it is permissible to havechametzin one’s house at the time;Hallelisnotrecited while eating it; and it may be moved to a different location(Rambam, Hilchos Korban Pesach).

1. A man who did not bring his Pesach offering in Nissan (the “first Pesach”), whether inadvertently or intentionally, must bring his offering on Pesach Sheini. But a woman who did not offer the Pesach offering on the first one is not obligated to bring it on the second one, but she may if she wants to do so.
2. If the majority of the People is contaminated with the impurity of the dead (tum’as meis) at the time of the first Pesach in Nissan, they are not postponed toPesachSheinibut rather they all bring their offering in their state totum’ahdefilement(Rambam, Hilchos Korban Pesach).
