Hilchos Purim – 21 / Mishloach Manos (b)

1. Some say that mishloach manosmust be delivered from the giver to the recipient specifically via a messenger i.e., not directly from the hands of the giver to the recipient]. It is proper to follow this opinion (Mishnah Berurah 695).

2. The mitzvah of mishloach manosis for a man to give to a man and a woman to a woman, but a man may not send to a woman or a woman to a man (ibid.).
