Blessed is the G-d of Israel, Who sanctified us from the other nations, gave us His Torah and through His love towards us brought us into the holy land so that we could merit fulfilling his laws and as such benefit in this world as well as in the next.

Notwithstanding, as hatred and derogatory speech has heightened between us, the holy temple was destroyed and we were sent into exile. Since then, we’ve been praying to G-d to redeem us and bring us back to His Holy Land, but our prayers have gone unanswered as a result of our many sins, which prevent the Divine presence from resting among us.
