The Laws of Prayer/Blessings (8)

1) The prayers of fathers and mothers should always be fluent in their mouths, to pray for their sons that they should learn the Torah and be righteous people. (Shulchan Aruch and Mishne Berurah 47)

2) One should therefore have great concentration when saying the blessing on the Torah and Ahavah rabbah, at the moment when one says “and we and our descendants should be…”, and in Uva Letzion when saying “in order that we should work for nothing and give birth into confusion” to pray for one’s children. (Mishne Berurah ibid)

The wise man says: I shall learn two halachot today, and two tomorrow, until I learn the entire Torah entirely… (Vayikra Rabba)
