1) One should say the verses of praise slowly and unhurriedly. One must be extremely careful not to miss out any word or to swallow it. Instead, he should enunciate every word as if he was counting money. (Shulchan Aruch and Mishne Berurah 51)
2) One should say “Mizmor lesodah” in a singing tone, as all of the songs are going to be annulled except for this one. (ibid)
