Laws specifically relating to muktzeh on Yom Tov are explained in Chapter 21.

 

MUKTZEH MEI-CHAMATH GUFO

45.a. 1) Sand on the seashore is muktzeh.

2) The same applies to sand which is intended to be used for building (even if children are accustomed to playing with it).

3) On the other hand, sand which has been put into a sandbox for children to play with is not muktzeh and may be moved, subject to the limitations mentioned in Chapter 16, paragraph 4.

45.b. Regarding the handling of a watch which has stopped going see Chapter 28, paragraph 25.

45.c. Regarding the handling of a button which has come off an article of clothing on Shabbath, see Chapter 15, para- graph 68.
