Categories of Muktzeh
Laws specifically relating to muktzeh on Yom Tov are explained in Chapter 21.
BASIS LA-DAVAR HA-ASSUR
54.a. An article does not become a basis la-davar ha-assur unless the muktzeh object which is on it is of some consequence when viewed in relation to that article.
54.b. If the muktzeh object is of no consequence when viewed in relation to the article which supports it, the article is not a basis la-davar ha-assur, and may be moved, subject to the rules set out in paragraph 47b above.
54.c. Instances of the latter situation occur when
1) a low-denomination coin is put on a table or
2) an object which is muktzeh is hung on the door of a room. (See paragraph 74 below.)
