Women are obligated to keep those positive commandments which are not dependent on time. They are also obligated to keep certain commandments which are dependent on time. Examples of this are Kiddush on Shabbos, eating three meals on Shabbos, reading the Megillah, and all the commandments of the night of Passover. They are also obligated to keep all of the negative commandments.
There are people who behave in a lenient manner when approaching certain prohibitions because they are not expert in the relevant laws, and do not know the prohibitions and their severity. In that which they know, women are generally more attentive than men. Women are obligated to leant the laws relevant to them. When they gather together, it would be good to learn the laws and the method of serving Hashem and how to bring up their children and increase the peace in the home etc.
The wives of wise men have to be especially careful to keep away from any hint of transgression, so that others do not come to learn from their deeds, which will also cause the profaning of the name of Hashem. They must also learn to always keep good character traits and not to be interested in beautiful clothes and jewelry, as the Torah of her husband which is more precious than pearls, should be enough for her. She should be a help for her husband to serve Hashem and be occupied with Torah, and with this she will merit that which Chazal said that Hashem promises more reward to women than to men, for the one who causes the other to perform is greater than the one who performs.
