Chapter 28

A Miscellany Including Stationery, Clocks, Noises, Baby Carriages, Remuneration and Advance Preparations

REMUNERATION FOR SERVICES RENDERED ON SHABBATH OR YOM TOV

56. It is forbidden to receive remuneration, even from a non-Jew, for services rendered on Shabbath.

57.a. One may remunerate a non-Jew for services which he has performed on Shabbath (and which one was allowed to have performed by him on Shabbath).
