Chapter 24

Laws Relating to the Erection of Protective Shelters and of Partitions on Shabbath and Yom Tov

COVERING WITHOUT INTENDING TO PROVIDE SHELTER

22. When dismantling a table of the kind described, made of a board laid over legs or supports at least a tefach in width, or over barrels, the order of procedure should be
a. to hold the board in one’s hands, then
b. to remove the legs, supports or barrels or have the removed, and finally
c. to take away the board.
