- Anyone who degrades his father or mother, even if only verbally or by hint, is among those cursed by the Almighty, as is written [Devarim27:16], Accursed is one who degrades his father or mother (Shulchan Aruch, YD 241:6).
2. A Jewish convert is forbidden to degrade his gentile parents; all the more so may he not strike them or curse them (ibid. 241:9).
