The Laws of Shavuos / The morning blessings (1)

1. According to the custom of the Sefardim, one who was awake all night, and is not going to sleep at all should make all the morning blessings immediately after midnight, apart from the blessing on the Torah which should be made after daybreak.

2. According to the Ashkenazi custom, he should make all these blessings only after daybreak. (Even according to this custom, one who slept and got up, may make these blessings immediately after midnight, apart from the blessing on the crow of the rooster, which may only be made after daybreak).

“Moshe established for Yisrael, that they should inquire and teach the issue of the day, the halachos of Pesach on Pesach, the halachos of Atzeres on Atzeres, the halachos of chag on the chag” (Megilla 32)
