Specific laws relating to the transfer of objects from one place to another on Yom Tov are dealt with in Chapter 19.

36.a. 1) It is forbidden to go out on Shabbath, in a place where pa there is no eiruv, wearing
a) a garment to which one has been obliged to attach taitzit solely in order to satisfy a doubt as to whether Jewish religious law requires one to have tzitzith on that particular type of garment or
b) a garment to which the tzitzith have not been attached in the proper position or fully in accordance with the demands of Jewish religious law.
2) In the latter case, one would, in addition, be transgressing the prohibition against wearing the garment without proper tzitzith
36.b. It is also better not to go out on Shabbath, in a place where there is no eiruv, wearing arba kanfoth that are below the required size or any other garment which, according to Jewish religious law, does not need tzitzith, but nevertheless has them.
