Specific laws relating to the transfer of objects from one place to another on Yom Tov are dealt with in Chapter 19.
MISCELLANEOUS RULES CONCERNING
THE TRANSFER OF OBJECTS
55.a. One should not urinate against a wall in reshuth ha-rabbim, if there is a possibility that the urine might traverse a distance of four amoth or more.
55.b. Similarly, one must not urinate in reshuth ha-yachid, in a place where the urine might run out into reshuth ha-rabbim, and vice versa.
55.c. One may, however, urinate in carmelith regardless of the possibility that the urine may run into reshuth ha-rabbim or reshuth ha-yachid or traverse a distance of four amoth or more.
56.a. If one has transferred an article between reshuth ha rabbim and reshuth ha-yachid, in either direction, one ought to take a strict view and refrain from using the article on that Shabbath in the place to which it has been brought.
56.b. Nevertheless, if the subject of the transfer was a key with which one proceeded to unlock a door, one is not prohibited from entering the house.
