Categories of Muktzeh
Laws specifically relating to muktzeh on Yom Tov are explained in Chapter 21.
BASIS LA-DAVAR HA-ASSUR
66.a. 1) Neither the drawer nor the table becomes a basis la-davar ha-assur if the muktzeh contents of the drawer are of little consequence, as where they consist of a few low-denomination coins. (See paragraph 54 above.)
2) In such a case, should one require to do so, one may open and close the drawer and move the table (subject to the conditions set out in paragraph 47b above)
66.b. If the muktzeh contents of the drawer are keilim she-melachtam le-issur, such as a hammer, a screwdriver or c matches,
1) the drawer may be opened and closed in order to put things in and take them out and
2)the table may be moved if one needs to use it or the place which it occupies.
